There is an aluminum disc in the watt-hour meter. Above and below the aluminum disc, there is an iron core sheathed in the coil. The magnetic field coil of the iron core above is directly connected in parallel with the power supply, and the voltage of the power supply is added, so it is called "voltage coil". The magnetic field coil of the lower iron core is connected in series with the load first and then connected in parallel with the power supply. The current flowing in it is the current required by the load, that is, the current user, so it is called "current coil".
Most of the coils of electric meters are similar, but different meters are used in different places. For example, the three phase electricity meter is relatively high when used by industrial users.
