Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a RS gold gimmick by Jagex to get people interested in crafting (or just buy their very own cat)? Or should you die with a clockwork cat after you, does your own clockwork cat become a"stray cat" wandering around in that place for a while instead of just disappearing how most lost items do (but how often do people perish within the GE)? (As an aside, have you noticed if you have a true cat following you, it'll get into conflicts with stray dogs which you pass, lol?)

Familiars have had their damage output scaled up, but then nerfed after it had been discovered that titans were hitting too tough on certain bosses. I have no idea how it is now. According to mod rathe: Summoning has largely been set to one side for the time being, as we feel it requires a whole Evolution of Summoning upgrade to itself to do justice. Although the truth that everything will be multicombat makes it marginally better than it currently is.

As for herblore, Mod Pi: With reguards[sic] into herblore and prayer, the present in game bonus'[sic] that the top tiers give you push the participant so far over their grade it had been making balancing bosses to be hard difficult[sic]. If you balanced for a participant without these boosts, anyone with turm + ovl would locate the struggle a stroll at the park. If you balanced for a player with those boosts then you made them a necessity. This was far from ideal as the buffs that astrology and potions give you need to be regarded as a boost along side[sic] that which you had rather than as important as getting the ideal weapon in sport.

Together with their existing strengths though, turmoil is effective at providing you the exact same boost as the difference between barrows and nex gear/choatics[sic] and overloads are capable of providing you the same boost as the gap between godwars gear and nex gear/chaotics. So they're far from tiny boosts.

I will comprehend that compared to this present values these look like huge nerfs but the inherent problem is actually that turm/ovl is too powerful currently and has been abandoned in that condition for too long. It appears to me when the cb update launches summoning won't be cheap OSRS gold as easy as herblore, but following the summoning rework it ought to become a lot better.
