Payment of international school fees in Malaysia can be done in many different ways. Parents can drop off payments at the school during office hours or send a bank draft or cheque from a Malaysian bank. In some cases, parents can even pay in advance online. This will allow them to receive a 3% rebate on their tuition fees.

Enrolment fee is non-refundable

Parents should be aware of the enrolment fee policy for international schools before choosing one for their child. This deposit is non-refundable for international schools in Malaysia, but is normally offset against the next year's tuition fees. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. In some cases, the deposit can be refundable, such as if the child withdraws or graduates from the programme. However, parents should ensure that they give adequate notice to the school if they are to withdraw their child from the programme. Otherwise, the deposit can be forfeited.

An enrolment fee is non-refundable for international school students, although it is not non-transferable. This fee covers the cost of the application and is payable upon acceptance of an Offer Letter. Parents are not required to pay this fee again if their child leaves the school. It also covers the cost of the student's uniform.

Tuition fee is non-transferable

International schools in Malaysia require parents to pay their tuition fee in full and in advance. Fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. Payments must be made in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) before the end of the previous school term. Parent can pay tuition fee in advance in cash or by bank draft. A rebate of up to 3% can be received if parents pay tuition fee in advance.

International students who wish to attend an international school in Malaysia must have a valid Student Pass or a Permission to Study endorsement. Failure to produce these documents can lead to problems at immigration checkpoints. In addition, certain family members can accompany students in Malaysia. Long-term social passes (also known as Guardian Pass) are available for these family members.

In addition to tuition fees, international schools in Malaysia also require a one-time enrolment fee (USD 1,000). The enrolment fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Students will be notified of the estimated fees before paying the enrolment fee. Once the enrolment fee is paid, the tuition fee and other miscellaneous fees are due. All fees are calculated in USD and must be paid in USD.

School reserves the right to amend the above terms and fees

Fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit. If you are unable to pay the full amount of tuition, you may request for a refund. If you withdraw before the mid-term, you will only be given a half-term refund. Otherwise, you will have to settle the balance. Students who do not pay the tuition fee will be denied access to lessons and facilities. The School reserves the right to impose late payment penalties.

Students and their families must follow the rules of the School. The School reserves the right to remove them if they breach any rules and regulations. In case of disciplinary action, the School may issue written or email warnings. If the offender persists, he/she may be disenrolled from the School without refund of the tuition fee or security deposit.

Application fee is non-refundable

The application fee is payable by applicants who wish to apply for admission to an international school in Malaysia. It is non-refundable and covers the administrative costs of the admission process. It may be paid by cash, cheque, credit card, online payment or JomPay. If paying by cheque, it should be made payable to LANG EDUCATION SDN BHD. Once the Application Fee is paid, the Admission department will schedule an interview and entrance examination for prospective students. The student's performance on the interview and entrance exam will determine the school's admission decisions.

To apply for an international school, parents should first understand the tuition costs. Typically, each school charges different fees. Some do not charge an application fee, while others charge thousands of dollars per student. Parents should also be aware of whether the fees are refundable. Some schools offer fee reductions for early payment or siblings.
