  • Furthermore, create a new bank account by carrying out the steps below. 
    • Select the chart of accounts from the lists menu. 
    • Right click anywhere in the charts of the account window and choose new. 
    • Select the bank for the account type. 
    • Enter the name of the bank in the account name field. 
    • Also, choose save and close tabs. 
  • You will then have to merge two accounts by renaming the old one with the new name. 
    • Herein, right click the old account and select edit tab. 
    • Type in the name of the new account in the account name field. 
    • Select yes when getting the merge warning dialog box. 
  • Last but not the least, set up the merged account for the bank feeds. 

 

Alternate method 

Select register mode 

  • Under this, you need to move to the preferences option from the edit menu. 
  • Go for checking and navigate to the company preferences tab. 

  • In the bank feeds selection, go for the classic mode which is register mode. 

  • Lastly, hit the ok tab.
