The sport has so much content, tons of OSRS gold pleasure areas, replayable distractions & diversions along with minigames, along with the rewards keep me coming back. I probably play for 2-3 months per year and really advancement in that time down the areas I want to improve, and unlock a great deal of content at the time.

I have had a very similar experience also, when I understood that the combat in orsr was largely prayer flicking along another similar complaints. I then tried out rs3 when I read some discussions on how rs3 ironman adds to the experience of the sport, by making the easier game tougher and forcing you to get every resource yourself which is fairly rewarding.

Being an Ironman has made it better, it seems like playing a huge single-player RPG instead of a different generic MMORPG. I am mainly excited about group Ironman so I will get my friends into the game and team up together. Still avoiding the looming shadow of Treasure Hunter.

See how much you can make it like a Hardcore such as me. With group hopefully coming the RS3 it will let Ironmen combine in a greater array of minigames and end-game tasks without a huge amount of hassle. Plus you can limit your interactions to only your social circle and still happily ignore Treasure Hunter.

I enjoy a game that simplifies my period. I am not a child or a streamer who could afford to spend 10h/day in front of the computer. RS3 allow some skills to be simpler achievable (but at the cost of not having outcome from them mostly) so that you can actually play the endgame, which is what the game is all about. So many bosses, acitvities, Things to accumulate, skills to maximum, abilities that move beyond 99.

Rs3's possibility of development is unlimited but osrs is not. They can never make something which is better or faster, the Cheap Runescape gold player base will not ever allow it. The sport is not going to be appealing to new players, and its not due to the images, its due to this insanelly long grind which only a few people can handle.

Yeah I felt the exact same especially the balance in combat. I'm still playing OSRS right now completing my pure (lol) but rs3 just seems a whole lot more enjoyable to me. The MTX that people like to whine about doesn't really bother me that much. I only enjoy my free keys out of questing and skilling in addition to the daily keys but that's about it. I can still play the game how I want to. People call it ezscape although not everyone has the patience and the time to grind like the fantastic ol' days.Osrs just feels right. It feels like true Runescape. I'm not gonna review bomb the game definitely but with that stated the mining/smithing rework did create playing iron man a ton funner for me, making my own lvl 90 armor was fairly cool, Heck I would play that as one player match even. That said osrs will always be my property.
