Food management in India is becoming a critical problem due to the continuous increase of the Indian population. It is being observed that Indians waste the maximum amount of food as much as the whole UK consumes. Most food is wasted at weddings, parties, canteens, hotels, family functions, and households. Our streets, garbage bins, and landfills are full of garbage spoiling our environment and have sufficient evidence to prove it. Alarmingly, the UN has reported that about 190 million people in India remain unnourished. It is further estimated that the value of food waste in India is around 92,000 crores per annum.
