Today, Electric Bike Factory will share the braking principle and replacement method of disc brakes:

The braking principle of the disc brake is to use hydraulic oil to push the brake pads against the stainless steel plates for braking. The disc brakes need to be changed for a period of time.

Replacement method:

  1. The brake oil cup cover is opened, and the screw of the exhaust port on the lower pump is slightly loosened, which is suitable for leakage of brake fluid.
  2. Put the turbid brake fluid out of the exhaust hole and then add new brake fluid into the oil pump until you see the clean brake fluid. Then tighten the screw of the exhaust hole.
  3. Tips for disc brake exhaust method: open the lid of the upper pump oil cup, repeatedly pinch the brake lever of the upper pump several times, and then hold it loose, then loosen the oil drain screw of the lower pump, and let the repeated operation until The brake lever is under pressure. If the brake lever is too soft, open the air exhaust screw on the lower pump if there is no pressure. At this time, you cannot pinch the brake lever, there will be oil flowing out of the air exhaust screw hole, and bubbles will come out at the same time. "Oil", until no air bubbles can be seen, tighten the exhaust screw.
