Collision is avoided during the use of digital electronic scales. Although anti-collision limit measures are adopted in the structural design of sensors and electronic scales, excessive collision will damage sensors before the limit measures take effect, causing changes in their electrical parameters and affecting the measurement accuracy of electronic scales.

According to the weight of the weighed articles, choose an electronic scale with an appropriate measuring range. The accuracy of an electronic scale weighing 3kg and 1g is 1/3000. If it is used to weigh 2 kilograms of articles, its measurement accuracy is 1/2000. If it is used to weigh 100 grams of articles, its measurement accuracy is only 1/100.

Influence of ambient temperature on weighing accuracy. National standards require Class III scales to ensure accuracy index within the ambient temperature of 0℃ ~ 40℃. If the ambient temperature exceeds this range, weighing accuracy may be affected.

The influence of vibration and wind on weighing accuracy is not significant for electronic scales weighing 15kg and 5g. On the other hand, for an electronic scale weighing 200g and dividing 0.1g, vibration and wind force will make the display numbers jump.

Environmental humidity and the influence of acid, alkali vapor or liquid on electronic scales. For Class III scales, the national standard requires that the accuracy index be guaranteed at the environmental humidity ≤ 90%, and that contact with acid, alkali vapor or fluid be avoided. For electronic scales without special treatment, > 90% humidity and attachment of acid, alkali vapor or fluid to the circuit will change the circuit parameters and even destroy the circuit. For the above use environment, products with waterproof performance can be used.

The annual inspection requirements of electronic scales, electronic scales due to the impact of use and aging environment and components, accuracy may change. According to the requirements of the national metrological technical regulations, regular verification is required. Electronic scales that have not been verified or have exceeded the verification effective date cannot be used.
