The bold commercial ads are already taking the steps of breaking the stereotypes. There are many campaigns that are taking the initiative. By doing so, they are gaining likes.

This strategy of breaking the stereotypes ads came into existence long back. However, recently we have seen their implementation on a large scale.

Fairness cream started avoiding brighter or lighter skin tones in their USPs

There were literally millions of fairness creams, moisturizers, and serums. However, long before the “Black Lives Matter” campaign, a few of the brands started avoiding the usage of fair words in their USPs.

But post this “black lives matter” campaign, the brands and commercial production agencies started implementing this strategy on a large scale. And this brought them marvelous results.

Fairness was never a measure of beauty. However, the misconception was full of such stories. The exclusion of fairness from ads and products might bring more change in society’s thinking as well.

Campaigns started showcasing gender equivalency in all areas

There are commercial ads that showcase a girl driving big heavy vehicles and still, people are calling her driver. See, there is no gender indifference in the name.

A girl was driving a plane, and people still ended up calling her pilot. Whatever a girl does, people know her by the occupation. Similarly, when a boy cooks, he is known as a cook only.

Let this be a message to imbibe. Next time when you see a person doing something, you are noticing their occupation, not their gender.

Real Transgender are being showcased in the commercial campaigns

There was a time when transgenders were not even considered Humans. But today in the year 2020, transgenders are accepted by the people. And they are loved for what they are.

There are many campaigns run by Los Angeles production houses depicting the acceptance of transgender as another human being. This is such a great initiative by not only commercial ad producers, but by us as a society. The change in people’s minds will come but with a bold initiative with bold commercial advertising.
