A typical application of Flange Insulation Gasket Kit

Offshore facilities, seawater environments, hydrocarbon services, chemical facilities, oil refining pipelines that require galvanic corrosion protection, and electrical insulation.

The requirements for the isolation gasket kit system are determined, and more choices can be provided in the conditions of use, without being restricted by the standard isolation and sealing technology:

Operating temperature range: temperature -200°C to +260°C

Operating pressure range: up to 2500 pounds including ASME B16.5

Chemical compatibility: pH range: – 0 – 14 (strong oxidizing agent and reducing agent)

Dielectric strength: D149 ASTM 10 Kv / mm

  How to tighten flange bolts

  Clean the flange.

Insert the gasket between the flange faces.

Insert the spacer sleeve into the bolt hole.

(If using a stud, screw a nut on one end until the end of the nut is flush with the stud). Place a steel washer and a spacer washer on the bolt, and then insert them into the bolt hole.

Install an insulating washer and a steel washer on the protruding bolt end. Tighten the nut by hand.

Tighten the bolts alternately along the diameter of the flange.

Always use a torque wrench to ensure even tightening.

Do not overtighten, otherwise, leakage may occur.

Ensure that the bolts are well lubricated.

No grease on the sealing surface
