Guidelines for storing Sealed Ups Battery:

Please store the battery after fully charged

Store at room temperature or lower

Remove the battery from the device

Recharge every 6 months or as recommended in the manual

  Avoid deep discharge

Choose the right float voltage to avoid sulfation and corrosion

Bring the power supply back to the stored sealed lead-acid battery

There are many ways to power a sealed Sealed Ups Battery. Two common methods are the highest charge and the equal charge. You can charge the SLA battery fully, take it out of the charger for 24-48 hours, and then apply the charge again for topping charging. This process must be repeated several times to check the fully discharged and charged capacity of the battery.

Another way to power a stationary Sealed Ups Battery is to perform equalization charging. Equalization charging can also be regarded as forced overcharging, that is, keeping the battery charged for one or two hours after reaching a fully charged state. This process can eliminate sulfate in the battery, which is likely to be formed under low battery conditions when it is idle.
