1. Hose composition. Generally speaking, a Pu Air Hose has three layers of tubes, and the inner rubber layer keeps the fluid transmitted by the hose in the tube. A reinforcement layer woven or surrounded by steel wires or fibers to resist internal pressure. There is also a protective layer of synthetic rubber on the outside to protect the reinforced layer.

2. Operating pressure. When selecting the type, it is necessary to ensure the compatibility of hoses and joints. The pulse pressure or peak pressure in the system is less than or equal to the operating pressure of the hose assembly.

3. Experimental pressure. Generally use water or other suitable medium to carry out at room temperature. The hose assembly should be kept at 2 times the working pressure for 30 to 60 seconds without leakage. This experiment is performed in accordance with ISO 1402.

4. Explosion pressure. The pressure that causes the hose to break should be 4 times the given operating pressure, but the explosion pressure value in the commercial sample is only used for the hose production test.

5. Fluid compatibility. The hose assembly must be compatible with the chemical properties of the medium it transmits, otherwise the hose will age and fail prematurely. The incompatibility of the fluid will corrode the hose and cause the hose to be damaged in advance.

6. Temperature scale. The temperature of the medium and the surrounding environment should not exceed the temperature scale of the hose itself, otherwise the function of the rubber hose will be affected and the hose will age prematurely and cause leakage.

7. The bending radius of the hose. The tortuous radius of the hose refers to the small tortuous radius that the hose can reach under its calibrated operating pressure. Operation in this tortuous state should not affect the function of the hose. The tortuous radius does not represent nor measure the softness of the hose. Bending the hose to a small bending radius will seriously affect the strength of the hose and cause the hose to fail. The straight length of the transition between the hose and the hose joint is equal to or greater than 1.5 times the outer diameter of the hose.

The composition of the hose is far more complicated than we thought. Its storage and use have strict requirements. Any problem with any factor will affect the quality of the hose.
