Werewolves and ESO Gold are part of the rich lore in the Elder Scrolls universe, and a lot of new ESO players are interested in playing as one of the fabled beasts. Werewolves are vicious beasts, and playing as one of these frenzied killing machines adds an interesting dynamic to the game.

Benefits of becoming a werewolf

Werewolves are awesome creatures with incredible power, yet I find that there aren’t many in the game. I asked around in my guild and apparently, a lot of players don’t like playing as a Werewolf.

To be honest, I feel like they miss out on a lot of fun, as Werewolves come with a lot of perks, such as:

Max stamina increase of 30%

Increase of stamina recovery by 15%

Increase of sprinting speed by 30%

Significant increase in physical and spell resistance: +10k

Besides these Werewolf form perks, you also get a permanent perk that works in your human form as well:

Increase of stamina recovery by 15% – if the ultimate is slotted on the active bar.

Of course, any curse, whether it’s Sanies Lupinus or Sanguinare Vampiris, has its downsides, and for the Werewolf, the downsides include a 25% increase in damage taken from poison attacks and 20% increase in damage taken from fighters guild skills. These can affect your game quite a bit, but to be honest, I feel like the pros outweigh the cons.

Werewolf or Vampire?

Before choosing to transform yourself into a Werewolf or a Vampire, you’ll need to consider your own character’s build.

This is because Werewolves tend to work better with specific builts. Players with a stamina build do a whole lot better with a Werewolf than a Vampire, mainly due to their perks and skills. On the other side, Vampires are the perfect choice for magicka users, with all the passives benefiting magicka and spell damage that come with the Vampire affliction.

Mind you, you can choose either path regardless of your build. It might just be a bit more difficult to level it up.

Leveling up fast

The Werewolf is an incredibly fun sub-class in The Elder Scrolls Online, but can be rather tricky when leveling up. Fear not, I will be sharing with your some of the best places and ways to level up your Werewolf.

But before getting into the methods themselves, let’s get something straight: your abilities will only get improved when you’re in your Werewolf form, even if you get some Werewolf perks whilst in human form. And as you can only hold that Werewolf form for a limited period of time, leveling up can be a bit time-consuming and annoying.

With that said, let’s get to the methods:

Dungeons and Delves

The hunting grounds are one of the most popular places to level up Werewolves, yet I am really not convinced by them. I mean, they’re always overloaded with other players and the quantity of mobs to fight is very low.

That is the main reason why I always go with dungeons, or any delve that has a sort of circular path.

These tend to have a lot of mobs and the spawning rate time is better than all other options. Run, kill, eat and repeat. That’s the order of business, and it works perfectly.

And you can take my word for it when I tell you that you’ll get from level 1 to level 10 in under 30 minutes. I definitely feel like this is the best way for power leveling your werewolf.

Oasis

This location is filled with 43 goats! (44 in the event you count the a single walking with an npc but do not kill that a single or you will get a bounty). Goats never fight back and they die in a single hit so you could hit the entire location in under a minute. After its clear, you are able to go north to seek out extra goats (see next component right after image under).

Dolmen Farming

Leveling your Werewolf Transformation ability to level V can be difficult, as you can’t morph your skills, but one way to do it is Dolmen Farming. For Dolmen farming, I’d say the best locations are Alik’r Desert and Auridon.

When you get to these locations, click “+dolmen+” on the chat bar and you’ll eventually be invited to a Dolmen farm group. Every two minutes within a group, you’ll get around 3k experience points. And If by chance you don’t get invited, don’t worry, you’ll still get around 1k experience every two minutes.
