  • The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro is a Top Phone at a Low Price

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro is one of the best Android bargains till date, assuming you can live without 5G. You get a great screen, fast performance, long battery life and a solid camera all fir under R5,899 from Smartphone Shop South Africa including free nationwide delivery.
As our Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro review will explain, this is one of the biggest smartphone bargains around. It gets so close to the day-to-day experience and performance of a R10,000 phone you’d never guess it costs less than R6,000
Redmi Note 11 Pro is also gives the beneficial efforts by Smartphone Shop in South Africa.

There’s only one missing feature and that’s the lack of 5G. This is a 4G device. It will always be a 4G phone and at that price point you can’t expect more. This is amazing 5g phones in south africa

Therefore make sure you’re happy with 4G LTE, for now 5G still seems like a hot and miss in many parts of South Africa anyway.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro has a large 120Hz OLED screen. Its Snapdragon 732G brings the goods for gaming, and the phone has some of the best speakers we've heard at the price. You get a solid 108MP camera. And while you shouldn’t put too much faith in that ultra-high megapixel count, it produces nice photos and has access to a good night mode.
There’s also a highly unusual, and unusually good, macro camera. Most budget phones macro cameras are barely worth using. This one is great for nature photography.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro's battery also lasts a long time, even if you use the 120Hz screen mode for smoother scrolling. Get the best deal with the xiaomi mi box also.

DESIGN:• Glass back, plastic sides• Relatively slim, not too heavy• Side-mounted fingerprint scannerThe Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a mix of high-end and low-end design traits. It’s a blend we like a lot.

For example, you get a headphone jack, like cheap phones. But the Redmi Note 10 Pro’s back is lightly curved Gorilla Glass, not the plastic many far more expensive phones use today.
The only obvious sign that the Redmi Note 10 Pro is an affordable phone is that its sides are plastic rather than metal. We’ve used the phone largely with its bundled case, and like that you can’t tell the difference anyway.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro’s Speakers are excellent for a cheaper phone. They are loud, offer some bass, and there are two drivers. One sits on the bottom, the other above the screen. And Redmi gives this top one two outlets, on the top and the front. This maxes out the stereo sound field and makes sure you won’t block it when playing a game. The OLED panel is also a great showcase for the high refresh rate. ‘120Hz’ means the image is refreshed at twice the standard rate, and it makes your app drawer scroll by much more smoothly than it would in most other affordable phones.PERFROMANCE:• Good general performance• Games run well even with the mid-range hardware• The speakers help with gamingThe Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro also has exactly the sort of chipset we’d hope for in a phone of this class. It’s the Snapdragon 732G, a mid-range processor with some optimizations for gaming, which boils down to a
    higher-clocked graphics section.

CAMERA:• Fun-to-use macro camera• Solid night mode• Primary camera offers good image qualityThe Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 108MP f/1.9 primary camera sensor. It’s an eye-catching spec.
However, the part of this phone’s camera array that stands out the most is something else, the 5MP f/2.4 ‘tele-macro’. It’s one of the best phone macro cameras we’ve tested to date.

BATTERY:• Great stamina, with the 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rate• Charges to 55% in 30 minsThe Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 5,020mAh battery, which seems a fairly high capacity for an affordable phone this slim.

Fire up the Redmi Note 10 Pro for the first time and it will revert to its 60Hz display refresh rate, just half of its maximum. This is likely to give the best first impression of battery life, as higher refresh rates consume more power. We left it on this setting for the first few days and were more than happy with the results.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro is a great phone for gaming. While slightly more powerful phones are available at a similar price, this one has a solid gaming-series processor bolstered by excellent stereo speakers, long battery life, and a great OLED screen.Pros• Excellent stereo speakers• Big and bold 120Hz OLED screen• Long battery lifeCons• No 5G• Lacks stabilization for 4K video• No telephoto camera"

  • How to Charge Your Phone Properly to Save The Battery
Yes Its True! You Charging style may effect your phone battery life. Have you ever noticed Why is it that your phone's battery seems to get worse over time? At first it might have power to spare as you snuggle into bed at the end of the night, but as time goes on you find your battery is just half-full by lunchtime. Many of the new phones like redmi note 10 pro seems have a great battery for your day but its degrade over the time.

But it's partially our fault because we've been charging them wrong this whole time.

The other thing to consider is that phone batteries do degrade over time, which means they are increasingly incapable of holding the same amount of power. While they should have a lifespan of between three- and five years, or between 500- and 1000 charging cycles, a five-year-old phone battery is never going to keep going as long as a brand-new battery.

Many of us have an ingrained notion that charging our smartphones in small bursts will cause long-term damage to their batteries and that it's better to charge them when they're close to dead. But we couldn't be more wrong. Many of the rugged phones have the same problems we have seen.

However, armed with our tips for best battery care practice, you can maintain your smartphone battery health much longer.

Don't keep it plugged in when it's fully charged

According to Battery University, leaving your phone plugged in when it's fully charged, like you might overnight, is bad for the battery in the long run.

Once your smartphone has reached 100 percent charge, it gets 'trickle charges' to keep it at 100 percent while plugged in. It keeps the battery in a high-stress, high-tension state, which wears down the chemistry within.

Battery University goes into a bunch of scientific detail explaining why, but it also sums it up nicely: "When fully charged, remove the battery" from its charging device. "This is like relaxing the muscles after strenuous exercise." You too would be pretty miserable if you worked out nonstop for hours and hours.Have you seen this thing in apple’s iphone xr 64gb?

    Will fast-charging damage my phone?

Most new smartphones support fast-charging, yet often come with a lower-specced charger in the box. The most common fast-charging standard is Qualcomm's Quick Charge, but phone makers often have their own alternative to this (which is often faster still).

These phones have special code usually located in a chip known as the Power Management IC (PMIC) that communicates with the charger you are using and requests that it send power at a higher voltage.

While fast-charging itself will not harm your phone's battery, which is built to support it, the heat generated from that charging likely will affect its lifespan. So a quick top-up with a fast charger is unlikely to hurt your phone, but prolonged and regular fast-charging might mean the battery doesn't last quite as long as it would were you to use a slower charger. So it's on you to balance the advantages of faster charging with the convenience of quickly topping up your phone before you dash out the door. Many phones like Oneplus South Africa have this advantage with full power backup.

In the same way that phone batteries don't like extreme heat, they also don't like the cold. So it goes without saying that you should avoid leaving your phone in a hot car, on the beach, next to the oven, out in the snow or, erm, in the freezer.

Partial charging is the way to go

Partial charging is just fine for lithium-ion batteries and can actually have some positive benefits for cell longevity. To understand why it’s important to appreciate how a battery charges. When closer to empty, Li-ion batteries draw constant current and operate at a lower voltage. This voltage gradually increases as the cell charges up, leveling off at around a 70 percent charge before the current begins to fall until the capacity is full.

Importantly, operating at a low voltage is good for a battery’s lifespan, increasing the number of available charging cycles before you’ll start to see a major reduction in capacity. Roughly speaking, every 0.1V decrease in cell voltage doubles the cycle life, according to Battery University. Therefore, charging up your phone in that 30 to 80 percent range keeps the voltage lower and prolongs the battery lifespan.
