  • The Department of Periodontics along with the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Public Health Dentistry and Prosthodontics, Santosh Dental College, Ghaziabad organized a Free dental camp in collaboration with IFP Petro Products Limited, Sahibabad to commemorate Oral Hygiene day on 01.08.2022.
    This program was organized under the able guidance of Dr. Akshay Bhargava (Dean, Santosh Dental College) and Faculty Dr. Shweta Bali (Head of Department), Dr. Mohit Dadu, and Dr. Chandni Batra, Dr. Aruna Nautiyal, Dr. Priyanka Negi along MDS students and interns of the respective departments. A warm welcome was extended by Mr. Anant Bhargava (CEO, IFP Petro Products Limited), following which about 80-100 employees availed the free dental check-up. As a part of an awareness campaign, a welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Shweta Bali (HOD) and Dr. Mohit Dadu which was followed by a presentation on oral hygiene and disease awareness by Dr. Kajal (1st year PG). Atourofthe company included a visit to the plant site and the laboratory which catered to refining used oils into customized grade oil. In conclusion, a vote of thanks was given by Mr. Aseem Bhargava, followed bylightrefreshments. The team reached Dental College &Hospitalat2:00 pm. In order to mark the oral hygiene day, various activities like slogan writing and poster contest were organized in the department of Periodontics or the students by faculty Dr. Priyanka Aggarwal (Professor) & Dr. Amit Garg (Professor) and the non-teaching staff.
